About our services
Farmer Mobilization & Capacity Building
We organize farmers into Farmer-Based Organizations (FBOs), Farmers Interest Groups (FIGs), Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA) and Tree Growers Associations (TGAs) to enhance collective action. We also build capacity in leadership, governance, entrepreneurship, advocacy, Farm business school, own saving culture, Income generating activities, mental health and reproductive health, Capacity building on value addition to crops, nutrition, and Good Agriculture practices (GAP) and post-harvest handling practices.

Climate Resilience & Environmental Conservation
We identify climatic hazards facing farmers in different agro ecological zones and develop adaptation plan.We promote tree seedling production & planting, Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices, agroforestry, beekeeping, fishing, environmental education, and to help communities adapt to climate change and protect natural resources.

Promoting Good Agricultural Practices (GAP)
We deliver hands-on training through Farmer Field Schools (FFS) ,demo plots, exchange visits and forums to help farmers adopt better land selection, preparation, planting material selection, planting, soil health and nutrient conservation, fertilizer& chemical application, pest and disease control, and post-harvest handling techniques.

Market Linkages & Value Addition
We help farmers transition to commercial agriculture by Facilitating access to reliable markets, supporting collective market centers, Training on crop value addition and quality assurance, linking farmers with buyers, agro-dealers to access quality and resilience farm input and financial institutions to access loans.

Post-Harvest Handling & Storage
We reduce food loss through training farmers in Good Post-Harvest Handling (GPHH), promoting storage facilities for perishables, seeds and cereals.

Food Safety & Nutrition
We build healthier communities by training vendors in Good Food Handling Practices (GFHP), raising awareness on nutrition and malnutrition prevention, establishment of nutrition program at schools and religious institutions through home gardens and cooking demonstrations, provision of orange Fleshed sweet potato (OFSP) Vines.

Financial Inclusion
We promote access to finance through Village Community Banks (VICOBA), Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA), Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOS) and linkage to Financial institutions.

Advocacy, Lobbying & Social Inclusion
Our work includes: Promoting gender equality, youth and People with Disability engagement, raising awareness on policy issues, encouraging sustainable use of natural resources e.g Land,water.

Cross cutting issues
We prioritize the following as cross cutting issues (CCI): Environmental conservation & climate change, Gender mainstreaming, good governance, pandemics (e.g HIV/AIDS, Ebola, and Covid-19).
